Hi, I am Dr. Sonja Gizycki. I was born in Gurdaspur, Punjab. The daughter of a government school principal and an Indian army officer. My last name is Gizycki courtesy my husband who is from Poland. He recently retired from Hewlett Packard research lab after working for them almost 37 years. I did my graduation and post graduation in pharmacology and toxicology from College of Veterinary Sciences, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab. After coming to the US, I did my internship at Ames, Iowa. I have been in private practice in the Bay Area for more than 25 years. I am the proud mother of a daughter who works as an attorney and a son who is an accountant.
